Cinderella's Castle is a Disney Icon. Everyone knows it. Everyone loves it. The castle itself was built for people to see at both Disney World in Florida, and Disney Tokyo. The original at Disney World was built in 1971. A suite was planned for the Disney family, but Walt Disney died several years before it was built. Now patrons can only walk through the middle of it. The rich and famous can stay in the room in the castle, but most people will never get to see it.
Now they hold live shows and fireworks at the castle nearly every day and every night. It is what people come to see, recognize, and daydream about. Who doesn't want to pretend they are Cinderella or Prince Charming? But at the very least, she should inspire the dreams in all of us, and as a reminder that our dreams can still come true and we should never give up hope.
